Samui International Jazz Music Festival 2012

Santi Wongsawat, the director of International Jazz Festival Alliance Foundation (IJFAF) and the director of the Samui International Jazz Music Festival. The IJFAF is an initiative of foundation JazzNL. This foundation alreay succesfully initiated the Day of Dutch Jazz (www.jazzdag.nl), a professional network and showcase event with morethen 1000 Dutch and international jazzprofessionals. In 2011 Foundation JazzNL initiated anew event (www.jazznl.com), Gateway to the Dutch jazz network. The first edition drew morethen 600 professional and musicians with official delegations from Canada, USA, Norway,Italy, Spain, Kosovo, Russia, Siberia, Thailand, Taiwan and a large delegation of more than 35 professionals from India.Hong…

    For professional, jazz-lovers and the curious: Friday the 16th of September will be the start of a new music event in Bangkok: Bangkok City of Jazz – With more then 15 concerts in the city of Bangkok, a jazz conference and various workshops. Most will take place in the BACC (Bangkok Art and Culture Center). During the conference the focus will be on connecting the European and Asian jazz networks. A large delegation of professionals from the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Spain will attend the conference. From Asia the organisation expects professionals from Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.…
